How do I send automated Shopify welcome emails to new subscribers to my store?

I would like to send an automated welcome email to new subscribers to my Shopify store. Can I do it from my Shopify admin or should I use an email marketing app? If so, what apps will have good automated Shopify welcome email marketing templates?

Unfortunately, Shopify doesn't offer any built-in features to send automated welcome emails. Instead, you'll need to install a third-party app from the Shopify App Store.

Shopify does not have the option to send an automated welcome email to your customers in the admin. To send emails, you will need to download an app from the Shopify store. Good options that have templates that you can choose include:
Shopify Email 
Privy ‑ Pop Ups, Email, & SMS 
Klaviyo: Email Marketing & SMS
