Sezzle is a 'buy now, pay later' app, which means that it allows your customers to purchase items at your store and pay for them at a later date in multiple installments.
The idea is that customers are more likely to place an order when they can postpone payments. Sezzle ensures that you get pay even though the customers don't pay you right away. They do charge a commission fee for that of course.
There are other installments / 'buy now, pay later' apps for Shopify, such as Klarna, Afterpay, Charge Me Later, etc.
Shopify is launching their own service soon called Shop Pay Installments - Sell more by letting your customers buy now, pay later
