Jill here for KeepShoppers, Yes, it will help improve your SEO. When a page is indexed by google (sitemap.xml), writing additional information using keywords would enhance its numbers. Make sure you update the title, the meta description and the body content of each product page. Your choice of both the page title and the meta description will greatly affect your SEO. Meta description means the few text lines that appear under your title when one uses an online search. Update each page so that each one will have a unique , relevant but simple meta description. In this way search engines would better understand what you are selling and will show it to people that search related items. The right title and description for a collection would get more potential clients to click on your link. To edit your title and meta description follow this in your admin page: 1. Go to Online Store > Preferences. 2. Edit your best title and description for your products 3. Click Save. After that make sure you also edit your whole collection body content. Describe each product using simple wording and relevant keywords. Good luck!

Yes, adding a collection description can positively affect your store’s SEO. You just have to be careful while selecting the targeted keywords. Title and meta descriptions should be short but unique and relevant so your potential customers can easily see your products on the search page.
