Here are some important points you should pay attention to:
It's your place to write your story relating to your store - give it some personalty and add your unique touch.
Create content that people will enjoy to read and will lead them to your products or brand.  Add some helpful ideas and tips. Writing good content is harder than it sounds, and yet a good blog could be a good way to drive more views. Be creative with your posts, when content is good it may also gain some organic shares.
Focus on a specific but wide niche. It is very important to choose your target audience and only after you have one, write the quality content.  
A stream of new content will give your blog a better Google ranking  (SEO) and hopefully assist sending some traffic to your store. 
Use different mediums such as articles, videos or photos to get your massage user friendly and engaging.
