Does Adding a brand to the product title improve SEO for my Shopify store?
Asked 5 years ago
I sell different brands on my website and I am not sure where or if I should add the brand name to the page name of each item. I want to create the best SEO-friendly product titles for Shopify, but when I add the brand to the product name it becomes very long. Would adding the brand to the page title be enough for Shopify?

Brand names are good for many reasons, one being, familiarity with the shopper. Familiarity brings trust, and building trust is the key to increasing sales. Shoppers will likely be searching for a brand name, therefore, featuring it in your product title is an amazing tool to direct traffic to your website.

Adding your brand name in the title can be a good move, and it might improve the SEO of your Shopify store. But a lot of factors play bigger roles to improve SEO. One such thing is relevant keywords. Highly ranked and relevant keywords can improve your page ranking marginally. Make sure to add your brand name as well as keywords in your meta description.
