How to make dropshipping products look more appealing to customers?

My dropshipping store gets decent traffic and I was thinking of ways to improve conversion. I’m looking for ways to make my customers feel more connected and trust my brand. Any suggestions would be much appreciated.

Another way to go about it is if you already have a traffic source in a certain domain, like a blog, Facebook group, etc., then you can dropship products that are related to your domain. Still, you’d have to write proper descriptions and provide photos.

Dropshipping sites are so easy to spot because they have all these unbranded items with all the photos in totally different styles, and often nowhere near enough information. So don’t learn from the wrong sites! For example, if I wanted to buy a blender, I would be looking for a few basic things. The first thing is beautiful photos of the blender that would make me understand what it’d be like to have this blender, how it would look in my kitchen, and so on. The second thing is that I’d like to know the essentials: What size is the container? What voltage does it use? Is it strong enough to crush ice cubes? What size is it, can I fit it in my cupboard? Does it have speed control? Does it have a ‘pulse’ feature? Are the blades made from stainless steel? Etc. The easiest way to gather this information is to go to Amazon.com and check similar products’ information. The third thing is to see other people’s reviews of the product. Some apps import reviews from Aliexpress to your store. If possible, I’d also like to see the brand name, to know that there’s a company behind the product. It’d make me feel more confident. Lastly, if you throw in some recipes, that would be a nice touch.

I have two tips for you. 1. The first thing is that it's best to not only dropship but also sell your own products. If you sell your own products, you create a more reliable brand, and the dropshipping products blend in. The dropshipping products can complement the other products, and look natural together. In stores that implement this strategy well, you wouldn't know the difference. So, Selling a mix of your own products together with dropshipping products is the way to go if you ask me. 2. The second thing is to write an extensive description for each product. It's worth the effort. You should order samples and take photos. Put in all of the specifications, explain how it is used, give a few use case examples, etc. Implement these two techniques, and you'll see how your dropshipping sales improve dramatically.

Branding is crucial. Consumers are not attracted by generic sites that showcase Aliexpress products. If you look at it from a customer’s perspective, you will see that you also wouldn’t feel tempted.
