Hiding out-of-stock products from my Shopify store

You can hide a sold-out product by using automated collections. You can either do it manually or use an inventory management app. Automated collections ease the process for you and are less time-consuming.

Follow these steps to hide out-of-stock products from your Shopify store:

1. Go to Products, then select Collections.
2. Select the collection you'd like automated.
3. Adjust the conditions as: Inventory Stock -> is greater then -> 0

Now any of your out-of-stock product that has 0 units in inventory will be hidden automatically.


You can hide and make the out of stock products invisible to the customers on Shopify in two different ways. The first is to go to the store settings of Shopify and automatically hide them. The other option is to use inventory management apps to hide them. Inventory apps like Stocky, QuickBooks Commerce, Inventory Planner can do the job done.
