Losing sales on Shopify because of a faulty 3PL system
Asked 4 years ago
I'm having MAJOR tech issues with my 3PL on Shopify. Basically, they control the inventory on my site. Shopify and 3PL are meant to feed back and forth with each other to confirm inventory. BUT 3PL system is, for some reason, randomly taking stock OFF Shopify. So it says we are out of stock of a particular size when, in fact, we have stock. 3PL is apparently attempting to converse with Shopify but I am slowly losing my mind with stress over the lost sales [particularly during EOFY] and wondering if anyone has any thoughts, suggestions, or a direct Shopify contact? I'm starting to think this isn't the best Shopify 3PL.

I am not too experienced with this issue but it sounds to me like your 3pl may be counting the available stock rather than the entirety of your stock. You could try manually counting your stock or switching 3pl's. Try a platform like Shipstation, who i know have their own tech team to help customers.

Shopify 3PL cannot handle order surges; that’s why you are facing the issue of stock OFF. Don’t let faulty tech issues ruin your sale revenues. You might be getting 100 to 1000 orders, but the warehouse doesn’t have enough space to complete your orders. It can be a risk to your business reputation. Get in touch with reliable best Shopify 3PL such as TAGG Logistics as soon as possible to solve this problem.
