How do I delete my old disabled Facebook ads account?

There is a simple set of instructions on the Facebook page for business accounts. It is clearly mentioned here what a user should do in order to delete an old Ads account that has been disabled.

How to delete a Facebook ad account?

To delete the ads account, navigate to Ads Manager Settings. Re-enter your login credentials if you're asked. Select Deactivate Ad Account underneath the header "Ad Agency". Now, give the reason for deactivating your Facebook disabled ad account and confirm your action. Finally, press Deactivate Ad Account.

Your Facebook ads account shall be deleted in 2 business days after your due payments are cleared. If you still face this issue, try getting additional support.
