How Many Ads Can You Run on Facebook?
In this post, we go over Facebook Ads Manager's limitations regarding the number of campaigns, ad sets, and ads per account.

Facebook limits the number of campaigns, ad sets, and ads that can be created or managed using a single ad account simultaneously. Once an ad account reaches these limits, the account admin will receive a notification or error message from Facebook stating that no further campaigns, ad sets, or ads can be created on the ad account.
These limits are lifetime limits that apply to active and inactive campaigns, ad sets, and ads. For example, when creating an ad set, a limit of 50 ads applies to each ad set. Therefore, you cannot create 51 ads in an ad set, even if 50 of the ads are inactive. Once the limit is reached for campaigns, ad sets, or ads, some assets will have to be deleted rather than deactivated. Facebook's Ads Manager will automatically archive these assets, and you won't be able to edit, duplicate, or reactivate them.
If you have a regular Facebook Ads Manager account, you can create or manage up to 50 ads in each ad set. Ad sets and campaigns are both limited to 5,000 assets. A regular Facebook Ads Manager account is allowed to manage or create up to 5,000 ads, of which 1,000 can use dynamic creative.
If you have a Facebook Account Manager, which has been assigned to you as a Managed Advertiser, you can create or manage up to 50 ads in each ad set also. Ad sets and campaigns, however, are both limited to 10,000 assets, rather than the 5,000 assigned to regular Facebook Ads Manager accounts. A Facebook Account Manager is allowed to manage or create up to 50,000 ads, of which only 1,000 can use dynamic creative.
Apart from limiting the number of campaigns, ad sets and ads that can be created and managed using a single Facebook account, Facebook also imposes a number of spending limits on Facebook accounts.
