Creating a Facebook ad is hard, some social media managers will lie to you that it’s easy but the truth is that without good knowledge in Facebook ads you can lose money running ads that don’t convert.
But I don’t I want you to go through what some of the marketers are going through when creating ads, I have come up with a checklist of the best things to do when creating FB ads that convert.
- Place Facebook Copy on The Image.
- Repeat your headline in the image, but expand on it or use a very short, appealing message.
- Place copy in a horizontal or vertical bar with a high contrast background.
- Include an eye-catching call to action.
- Be careful not to let copy take up more than 20% of your image.
- Put copy on an image and let it talk about one thing or use a plain background.
- Use Facebook image tester before submitting an image.
- Repeat on-image copy in the ad’s body copy.
- Write Facebook Ad Headline.
- Make the headline a call to action.
- Keep it to 5 words.
- Add a benefit to the headline.
- Keep it simple by focusing on one thing [big idea].
- Attract eyeballs with appropriate special characters.
- Be empathetic because any problems you are solving are real pains.
- If it’s a new product let your prospects know by including the word new in the headline.
- Ask questions that will bring the answers you want.
- Mention the offer.
- Write Facebook Text Copy.
- Open with a strong hook.
- Keep it under 40 characters though the maximum characters are 90.
- Quickly move your prospect from your headline to call to action.
- Make the description work with your headline.
- Repeat, clarify, or expand on the offer expressed in other copy.
- 0ptimize Facebook Ad Copy.
- When using videos-add text to your videos, which autoplay on mute in the newsfeed.
- Use power words like “you” and “free”.
- Use urgency to nudge the click.
- When choosing your call to action, choose learn more, sign up, or shop now.
- Use short sentences and make it easier to consume content.
