Removing a section from Shopify my store homepage

How can I delete a section for my Shopify store, I don't want to risk deleting the whole Shopify account? Is there a way how I can remove just a Shopify store page from my website?

Delete a dynamic section from your Shopify store by following these steps:
- From the Shopify admin go to 'Online Store' then 'Themes'
- Choose the theme that you want to customize
- In the editor toolbar, click the section that you would like to delete
- At the bottom of the toolbar, there is the option to 'Delete Section'
