What is the best number of payments to spread out a BNPL purchase?

Hi guys, does anyone have some data/statistics on what is typically the most used option on BNPL purchases? I heard from multiple colleagues that customers tend to spread their purchases out over 4 payments but I'm wondering if that is really the case? I'm trying to improve conversion rates and would like to offer the most sought after option. Thanks.
