- Sign up with Klarna First, you need to sign up with Klarna to create your account. This includes choosing your payment method/checkout solution.
- Install the Klarna Payments app After creating your Klarna account, you need to install the Klarna Payments app. The app lets you integrate Klarna into your Shopify store and enables Klarna to manage orders and generate credit offers. As part of the set-up process, you'll need to authenticate Klarna API.
- Activate payment method You can activate Klarna as a payment method by following these simple steps:
- On your Shopify admin, go to Settings > Payment providers.
- In the Alternative Payments section, click Choose alternative payment.
- Choose Klarna as the provider (from the list).
- Enter your Klarna account credentials.
- Click Activate.
