How do I stop Tidio from slowing down my website?

I installed Tidio but since then everything has slowed down drastically and it's been quite frustrating. Is this an error on my side or is it on Tidio's?

Tidio claims that their chat widgets load independently from other elements on your site so it is unlikely they are the cause of slow loading speeds. Test the loading speed of each element on your website by inspecting the page, selecting 'network' and reloading the page. You will see the loading speeds for each element.
