I would definitely take shipping costs into account. And remember, volume affects shipping costs, not just weight. Typically you’re charged whichever is greater. Also, customers quite often expect free shipping or at least inexpensive, so you end up bearing the cost. If you use US Postal Service, you can get flat rates and pretty cheap shipping options. It’s also quite inexpensive if you ship abroad, but shipping times are relatively long. UPS and FedEx are quite costly.
