Is there a limit on how many times I can change the name of my Shopify store?

You can change your Shopify store name as often as you like, however, this may create confusion for your customers.

Keep in mind that if you change your name your domain will be different. You can buy a custom domain but if you do this for each name change, it could start costing you a lot of money.
