Does Shopify require coding knowledge?

Does anyone know if prior coding knowledge is required to run a Shopify store effectively? If so, what coding language does Shopify use and can anyone point me in the right direction as to where to start learning please.

Shopify empowers non-coders to create and manage online stores proficiently. While basic HTML/CSS awareness is advantageous, it's not mandatory. Additionally, you can always employ a developer to make the necessary coding adjustments, customization, and troubleshooting while you concentrate on your areas of expertise.
