I have tried using Pinterest for a long time to generate traffic to my store. It didn't work for me, and I honestly doubt if it works for anybody else. I've been using Pinterest for a very long time for my personal needs (to manage collections, photos, screenshots, inspiration, etc.). Still, for the purpose of promoting a Shopify store, it failed me. First of all, if you see an eCommerce product on Pinterest, then it's probably already on Amazon. I think that maybe if you sell handcraft on Etsy or something like that, it might work. I also hate it that Pinterest posts appear in Google because it is difficult to get to the source of what interests you. If someone has found a successful niche that can be sold on that side, I'd love to hear about it. During my experience, sometimes truly random things would pop up in my search, like wigs in the middle of cookie decoration, for example. I have clicked on a few things seeking more information in a blog, but again, if it is on Pinterest, it is probably on Amazon, so I just wouldn't make an effort. But I would love to hear from someone who's had a better experience with Pinterest.
