Charging clients for return shipping cost in the event of exchange on Shopify

Is this how I should be handling returns on Shopify? How can I charge clients for the shipping costs when they ask for product exchange by Shopify?

Handling returns on Shopify can be hectic – especially the return shipping costs. Similarly, 62% of customers don't like it either. So what should you do?

It would be best to offer free shipping. But if it isn't feasible, ask your customers to ship the exchange products by themselves – Bear the shipping charges for one way for yourself. Also, mention your Shopify exchange return policies to set the right expectations in customers' minds.

In general, it is best to only charge the customer for shipping one way so they do not feel overcharged, for example, they pay to send back the item they want exchanging and you pay for the new item to be shipped.

Apps such as 'Point of Sale' by Shopify can help you with exchanges.
