How to use credits in our pricing plan?

We’re considering changing our pricing plan to allow our clients to buy credits that will be used to pay for our services. I’m worried that the shift to credits may affect the business. Does anyone have experience with that?

Selling credits has many advantages, but it can also hinder your clients if they’re afraid they might not use all their credits before they expire. So, I would strongly recommend allowing your clients to carry over unused credits into the following months if you can. It depends on your cost structure and customer lifetime value, of course. Allowing customers to carry over credits will eliminate fear.
