Do short blog posts and on-site visitation times with low click counts hurt my SEO?

if the blog post at my shopify store is short and takes little time to read OR if visitors only read the 1 post from the link without clicking around the site further (even if that takes awhile), wouldn't this count as a bounce and actually hurt my SEO?
