Reserving items for orders on Shopify

Looking for a way to reserve items/hold items on my Shopify store when an order is placed but the payment hasn't been received yet. 
I would like to update my inventory to avoid a situation where a product is reserved for a pending order but is still available to be purchased online. 
Is there anyway to update the inventory according to an uncompleted order?

You can create a draft order and reserve the item. To reserve the products included in an invoice or a draft order, click Reserve items (top left) and then select how long you want the items to be reserved. This reserves any items that have inventory tracking enabled, but doesn't adjust their actual inventory levels in your Shopify admin.
