Is shipping to an overseas US military base more expensive than shipping within the country?

The shipping rate is the same cost as domestic shipping because your package goes to a local distribution center, and the military sends the package to its destination. Two things to remember are that the military mail service is rather slow, so it’s going to take time. The other thing is that you do have to fill out customs forms. Hope this answer helps. Cheers
