What counts as MAP policy violation?
Asked 3 years ago
Hi everyone, I want to implement a MAP pricing strategy, but I am unsure of the rules and what will happen if I accidentally violate these rules. Are the penalties steep?

Minimum Advertised Price (MAP) refers to the lowest product price retailers display in their stores when advertising. MAP policy violation happens when a reseller advertises the product below the price agreed in the policy statement. The policy violation is not accountable under legal laws in every region. However, the distributors might charge retailers by restricting them from selling their products.
