DHL vs. FedEx vs. UPS vs. USPS: Which is the cheapest for international shipping?

Asked 6 years ago

I'd like to know if DHL, FedEx, UPS, or USPS is the cheapest shipping company for international shipping. I'm currently using USPS, but I've lost quite a few parcels with them in the last few months.

In most cases, USPS is the cheapest option for small business shipping. However, it doesn't offer the range of expedited shipping options that the other 3 companies have, and delivery takes around 11 to 20 days through USPS.

When comparing DHL, FedEx, and UPS, in the majority of cases, DHL will be your cheapest option for international shipping (with FedEx and UPS being cheaper for domestic shipping).

In response to your lost packages, USPS hands over all shipments to local carriers in the destination country, so they may not be directly to blame. DHL, FedEx, and UPS do the same unless you opt for the more costly premium service like DHL Worldwide Express.
