You can integrate eBay as a sales channel on your Shopify store and use your store to sell on the eBay marketplace. Since there are many discussions about synchronization problems, it is important to make sure that the product listings and inventory levels are being properly updated.
To install the eBay app for Shopify go here. You should make sure that you properly use the account integration (see tips below) and consider using a third-party service like InkFrog for connecting your Shopify store to eBay. Tips for using eBay as a sales channel for your Shopify stores -
- When you create new product listings you have to manually publish these listings from Shopify to eBay. New eBay listings will not be automatically created for new products on Shopify.
- Changes to eBay listings created using Shopify must be done on Shopify. Don't edit listings directly on eBay since these listing will stop being updated, including inventory levels and listing content.
