MAP (Minimum Advertised Price) policy refers to setting a price limit when advertising the product. This pricing agreement includes incentives for both retailers and distributors. Both parties work collectively to develop a minimum price and prevent "margin erosion." Any party violating the terms of the agreement is bound to face legal consequences.
