Using personal Paypal account for my Shopify store

Hey Marci, Anne here from KeepShoppers. It is possible to use your personal PayPal account but as you would start selling Paypal will offer you to upgrade into a business account. You could just create a business account now. If you are worried about registering as a business- you don't need to be. PayPal business account, doesn't require your business to be registered. You can also connect the same bank account that is connected to your personal PayPal account. If you do want to connect your personal account follow these steps: In your Shopify admin panel go to Settings=> Payments Select PayPal Express Checkout=> Activate As you get redirected to your PayPal page=> log in => click I Give Permission. You'll return to Shopify where: Under Payment Authorization=> select Automatically capture payments for orders => Manually capture payment for orders=> click Save. Since you do not need to list your business do not hesitate to open a PayPal business account it is the right way to work. Good luck
