How to upload a PDF to a Shopify product page?

How can I upload a PDF to a product page on Shopify? I am looking for a way to add user manuals. I heard that it had something to do with a Shopify dropbox integration but I'm not entirely sure I understand. Since it's on Shopify, do I have to link to a PDF, or just upload it straight?

Firstly, you will need to have an online cloud storage service like Dropbox or Google drive. After you upload your PDF to the cloud it will generate a 'Shareable' link. Next, open your Shopify product page and insert the link wherever you need it. Now, press save, and Voila! The PDF link should be active on your site.

You can use both options for Shopify dropbox integration: link the PDF or upload it directly.
How to upload a PDF to Shopify?Upload it directly:
From your Shopify admin, go to Setting> files> Upload Files and finally select the PDF you want to upload.
Link the PDF:
Click on Upload Files.
Select PDF file and click open.
A list of uploaded documents will appear onscreen. You can copy the URL of your desired file and paste it on your product page.
