You have to select the service that suits your business needs, of course. But what many people overlook is that the trick is to reduce the size of your package. Reducing size even by a single inch on one side can change the way volume is calculated. We cut shipping costs on one product by 40% last year by going 2 inches down. On another product, we decreased shipping costs by 50% by using a poly mailer bag. The savings are enormous if you consider international shipping prices.
